Annex Testing Services was established under the aegis of Annex College of Management Studies (ACMS) in the year 1997 with an idea to conduct training programmes and tests in various streams of competitive examinations. Annex College of Management Studies (ACMS)-Centre for Management and Information Technology Education is a decade old renowned B-School in the city of joy. ACMS has strategic alliances with several professional bodies and Universities of repute such as All India Management Association & G.G. University for catering under graduate level and postgraduate level professional education in the field of Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Application, Journalism and Mass Communication, Media Studies, Pharmaceutical sales & marketing etc. and enjoys an association with several organisations / Industries all over the country for imparting Corporate Trainings and Management Development Programmes.

• Centre for Media studies
• Centre for Social commitment

At present, ACMS is having strength of over 700 students pursuing various streams of courses at ACMS. ACMS is recognised for its professional stature in imparting right kind of value education to its students. On several occasions, ACMS students have bagged the AIMA gold medal for their outstanding performance in academics throughout India. Since 2004, All India Management Association has started awarding its best performing Nodal Centres across the country. AIMA nodal centre includes top class B-Schools across the country such as Alliance Business Academy, LIBA, JIMS, Birla School of Management, Christ College, M.S.Ramaiah, SCMS to name a few. This year based on the assessment done on various aspects like Students Acceptance, Academic support, Final Results and Placement of the Nodal Centres, ACMS has been awarded the BEST NODAL CENTRE (ER) by AIMA for the year 2004.

Recently ACMS have conceived an objective to eradicate the problem of unemployment and poverty at different levels by providing knowledge on business philosophy, to render maximum help to the enterprising persons who have aptitude for self employment, to focus on reducing the volume of wage employment sector, to generate entrepreneurs in various areas of Business, to create the awareness of Entrepreneurship and building the entrepreneurial quality and capacity of different target groups on selection basis and to provide the knowledge on the requirements of support systems organizations.
In order to achieve this end ACMS in association with EDII is jointly offering Entrepreneurship Development programme for the Students of Engineering colleges, Management Institutes, Polytechnic colleges, other vocational training institutes / colleges and Unemployed youths who can be potential entrepreneurs in the State of West Bengal.
The programme is sponsored by Frederick Neumann Stiffung, Germany and supported by NSTEDB, NEDB, SSI, and ARI government of India.

ACMS plans to start a full-fledged Entrepreneurship Development Institute in the state of West Bengal and look forward for all the possible support, help and cooperation from the Government and respective authorities for development of this maiden venture.
